Privacy Policy

This policy describes what data Tiko List collects, how it is used and what controls you have over your account, lists, permissions and AI features.

Last updated: April 28, 2026

1. Data we collect

We collect account data, such as authentication identifier, name, email when made available by the login provider, language, timezone and app preferences.

We also process content you create in Tiko, including lists, items, groups, notes, dates, reminders, invitations, sharing permissions and completion state.

When you use smart features, we may process transcribed voice, images sent for list capture, messages to Tiko AI and generated responses.

2. Device permissions

The app may ask for access to calendar, reminders, microphone, speech recognition, photos, camera, notifications and approximate or precise location, depending on the feature you choose to use.

You can change these permissions in iOS settings. If you deny a permission, the related feature may be limited or unavailable.

3. How we use data

We use data to create and sync lists, save preferences, send notifications, enable collaboration, import events or reminders, provide support and maintain service security.

We use usage data and technical metrics to diagnose problems, prevent abuse, measure performance and decide which features to improve.

Content sent to AI features is used to perform the request, such as transcribing voice, extracting items from a photo, organizing lists or responding in chat.

4. Sharing with other people

When you share a list, invited members can see information in that list, including items, notes, dates, completion state and changes made by other members.

You can remove members or change permissions when the feature is available. Content already seen by other members may not be recoverable.

5. Service providers

We may use providers for hosting, database, push notifications, authentication, payments, technical analytics, file storage and AI features.

These providers should only process data as needed to provide services to Tiko and are subject to their own terms and policies.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep data while your account is active or while needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect security.

You can request account or associated data deletion through the available support channels. Some residual copies may remain in backups for a limited period.

7. Security

We apply technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss and improper alteration.

No system is completely secure. You should protect your device, credentials and access to your Apple account or other login provider.

8. Children

Tiko is not intended for children who are not old enough to consent to data processing in their country without parental authorization.

If you believe we collected data from a child without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review and delete the information when applicable.

9. Rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, object to or request deletion of your personal data.

You can also control notifications, device permissions, list sharing and subscriptions directly in the app, iOS or the App Store.

10. Contact

For privacy requests or questions about this policy, contact the Tiko team through the channels shown in the app or on the App Store page.
